An online yoga teacher training course is a structured program that trains you to become a professional yoga teacher, all from the comfort of your home. At Ayushman Yog, our online TTCs covers both theory and practical aspects of yoga through live interactive classes, where you learn asanas, pranayama, anatomy, yoga philosophy, teaching methodology, and more. Our live courses are conducted 5 days a week via live online sessions, and you also get access to structured study material through our website and mobile app so you can learn anytime, anywhere. How can I become a certified yoga teacher online? Becoming a certified yoga teacher online with Ayushman Yog is straightforward: Choose the YCB course level that suits you- Level 1, 2, or 3. You can select any of these levels; it is not a step-by-step process. Fill out the application form and complete your enrolment. Once you receive the links, start attending live online theory and practical classes spread over 3 months. Prepare using our study material, MCQ practice, class assignments and mock tests. Once the study is over, you will be awarded a "Certificate of Completion" by Ayushman Yog. For the govt certification, appear for the YCB examination. Post clearing the exams, receive your government-recognised yoga certification No prior teaching experience is required to join Level 1 , Level 2 or Level 3 . Our experienced teachers guide you every step of the way, and email and chat support are available throughout your learning journey. Which YCB Level should I choose? Great question, and here is something important to understand first! At Ayushman Yog, no matter which level you choose- Level 1, 2, or 3, your practical training will be exactly the same, equally intense, and equally comprehensive. Every student across all three levels trains together in: Ashtanga Primary Series Disease Management YCB Syllabus Practices We made this a deliberate choice because we believe every yoga teacher deserves the same strong practical foundation, regardless of the certification level they are pursuing. You will not get a "lighter" or "easier" practical training just because you are at Level 1, nor will Level 3 students have an edge over Level 1 students when it comes to practical skills. The mat work is the same for everyone, always. So if the practical training is the same across all levels, what actually differs between the levels? The difference lies entirely in theory and philosophy. Each level goes progressively deeper into academic content, yoga philosophy, anatomy, therapeutic applications, and yogic texts. The higher the level, the more extensive and detailed the theoretical syllabus. A simple way to look at it: Level 1- Strong practical foundation + essential theory. Perfect if you are beginning your yoga education journey Level 2- Same strong practical + deeper dive into wellness, anatomy and applied yoga knowledge Level 3- Same strong practical + comprehensive theoretical mastery, enabling you to also train and evaluate other yoga teachers To understand exactly what theory is covered at each level, we strongly recommend reading our detailed brochure before making your decision. What is the structure for this course? Here is how our program is structured, and we think you will really appreciate this approach! The practical training runs for 3 months. This is because each of the three practical modules- "Ashtanga Primary Series, Disease Management, and YCB Syllabus Practices", takes approximately 4 weeks to complete, making it a well-paced and thorough 3-month practical journey. However, theory classes are a different story. If you are pursuing a YCB government certification, you are welcome to continue attending theory classes even after the 3-month practical training ends, right up until you appear for and clear your government exam. There is no rush and no cut-off. We designed it this way with a very clear philosophy in mind: yoga cannot truly be learned within a fixed number of hours. Binding theory learning to a rigid hour count may look good on paper, but it does not serve the student. Real understanding of yoga, its philosophy, its texts, and its therapeutic applications requires time, reflection, and revisiting concepts again and again. This is especially true at Level 2, and even more so at Level 3, where the theory is extensive and deeply layered. By allowing students to continue theory classes beyond the 3-month period, we ensure that learning is thorough and meaningful, not rushed just to meet a deadline. Once the 3 months are over, we award the students a "Certificate of Completion", so you can start teaching and applying for jobs right away, and at the same time, continue attending theory classes and preparing for your YCB government exam whenever you feel ready . What is the Yoga Certification Board (YCB)? The Yoga Certification Board (YCB) is an official government body established under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, responsible for setting national standards for yoga education, training, and professional certification in India. YCB certifications are structured across multiple levels: Level 1- Yoga Protocol Instructor Level 2- Yoga Wellness Instructor Level 3- Yoga Teacher and Evaluator Level 4- Yoga Master Level 5- Assistant Yoga Therapist Level 6- Yoga Therapist Level 7- Therapeutic Yoga Consultant Each level is designed to build progressively deeper competence from foundational yoga teaching skills at Level 1 to advanced therapeutic applications at Level 7. YCB certifications are nationally recognised across India and are accepted by schools, hospitals, corporate wellness programs, government institutions, and yoga studios. For international students, a YCB certification is widely regarded as one of the most authentic and credible yoga qualifications available globally, given that it is issued by the government of India, the birthplace of yoga. Ayushman Yog is a well-recognised YCB teaching institution, recognised by the Yoga Alliance (500 CYS), and the World Yoga Federation. It has also pioneered the study material for all levels. It offers online YCB teacher training courses preparing students comprehensively for government examinations. Are online yoga certification courses valid? Yes. Online yoga certification courses are completely valid, provided they are offered by a recognised and authorised institution and provide sufficient knolwedge in the study. In the case of YCB-affiliated online courses, the certification is issued directly by the Yoga Certification Board, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, making it a government document with full national and international validity. The mode of training, online or in-person does not affect the legitimacy or recognition of the certificate. What determines validity is completion of the prescribed syllabus and passing the official YCB examination. For Indian students, a YCB certificate is recognised across all professional yoga settings in India, schools, hospitals, wellness centres, fitness studios, and government programs. For international students, the certificate carries strong credibility because: It is issued by the Government of India, the country of yoga's origin It is backed by the Ministry of AYUSH, a dedicated government ministry for traditional health sciences Ayushman Yog is additionally recognised by Yoga Alliance International (500 CYS) and the World Yoga Federation, providing an extra layer of international recognition For working professionals, online yoga certification courses offer the flexibility to train without disrupting existing commitments with live interactive classes, self-paced study material, mobile app access, and a structure that accommodates different time zones and schedules. A government-recognised online yoga certification from a reputed institution like Ayushman Yog is not just valid; it is one of the most credible and professionally respected yoga qualifications available today, both in India and internationally. After completing this course, can I teach yoga professionally? Yes. Upon successful completion of the training and certification, you can begin teaching yoga classes independently or apply for teaching roles. Can beginners learn yoga online? Yes, beginners can absolutely learn yoga online and in many ways, online yoga teacher training is particularly well-suited for beginners because of the structured, guided, and flexible nature of the learning environment. At Ayushman Yog, no prior teaching experience or advanced yoga practice is required to enrol in the YCB Level 1, 2 or 3 Yoga Teacher Training Course. The program is specifically designed to take a student from foundational knowledge to a fully certified, job-ready yoga professional, entirely online. Here is what makes online yoga learning accessible and effective for beginners: Live interactive classes - You learn in real time with an experienced teacher, ask questions, get posture corrections, and receive personalised guidance, just as you would in a physical classroom Structured study material - A well-designed curriculum available on the website and mobile app ensures that even a complete beginner can follow the learning journey step by step Progressive curriculum - Training begins with foundational asanas and gradually builds towards more advanced practices, philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodology Flexible pace- If you miss a live session, structured study material ensures continuity in your learning Ongoing support- Email and chat support are available throughout the course for academic and administrative queries For beginners who want to understand the full scope of what they will be learning before enrolling, Ayushman Yog strongly recommends downloading the detailed course brochure , which outlines the complete syllabus, schedule, and course structure for each level. What is included in a yoga teacher training syllabus? A comprehensive yoga teacher training syllabus covers both theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to teach yoga safely, effectively, and confidently. The exact depth and breadth of the syllabus vary by certification level. At Ayushman Yog, the YCB yoga teacher training syllabus is structured across two key components: Practical Training- Same for All Levels (Level 1, 2 and 3) Regardless of the level a student enrols in, the practical training at Ayushman Yog is identical and equally intensive across all three levels. Every student is trained in: Ashtanga Primary Series- A structured, progressive sequence of postures that builds strength, flexibility, breath awareness, and discipline Disease Management through Yoga- Therapeutic yoga practices for common lifestyle disorders, including back pain, arthritis, neck pain, diabetes, weight management, digestive issues, and more YCB Syllabus Practices- All asanas, pranayama, mudras, bandhas, kriyas, and relaxation techniques prescribed by the Yoga Certification Board for the respective level Theory and Philosophy - Progressive Across Levels The theoretical syllabus deepens significantly with each level. Broadly, the theory curriculum across levels covers: Yoga philosophy- Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Darshan, Hatha Yoga texts, Bhagavad Gita, Yoga Vashishtha Anatomy and physiology- musculoskeletal system, respiratory system, nervous system, and their relationship with yoga practice Teaching methodology- class planning, sequencing, instruction building, posture correction, and class management Yogic texts and classical scripture Advanced therapeutic and evaluative skills at higher levels For a complete and detailed breakdown of the syllabus at each level, including topic-wise content, schedule, and examination pattern, we strongly recommend downloading the Ayushman Yog brochure. Who are the instructors for this course? You can read the teacher's profile here . Will I receive study material for the course? Yes. Complete study material is provided in digital format and can be accessed through our website and mobile app. The digital material is non-downloadable to ensure content integrity. If you prefer studying from a physical book, you may choose to purchase the printed version from Amazon. Please note that the content of the book and the digital material is the same, and purchasing the hard copy is entirely optional, not mandatory. After completing the 3-month course, how much time do I have to appear for the exam? YCB examinations are conducted every month. The upcoming exam dates are shared regularly with students through the official community WhatsApp groups. There is no pressure from our side to appear for the examination immediately after the course. Students are encouraged to take the exam only when they feel fully prepared. Once you decide your preferred exam month, we assist you with the exam booking process. Currently, the examinations are conducted in online mode through our authorized PrCB partner, MSPL. Since I can appear for the exam when I feel ready, does that mean I can continue the classes indefinitely? The practical classes are conducted strictly for a period of 3 months , as per the course structure. However, understanding that theoretical learning benefits from repetition and continued exposure, students are allowed to continue attending the online live theory classes even after the completion of the 3-month practical training. You may attend the theory sessions until you clear the examination, and even after the exam, should you wish to stay connected for continued learning and conceptual clarity. Is Ayushman Yog a Government body? No. Ayushman Yog is a private yoga education institute that prepares students for the Yoga Certification Board (YCB) examinations. Please note that all yoga teaching and training institutions are private bodies How does Government affiliation work for YCB courses and examinations? Yoga teaching and training institutions are private bodies. The Government of India, through the Yoga Certification Board (YCB) , does not run teaching institutes directly. Instead, it affiliates and authorises examination bodies, known as Professional Certification Bodies (PrCBs) , to conduct YCB examinations. Students may choose to study through any private yoga school , such as Ayushman Yog, or may even opt for self-study by using prescribed study material, especially in the case of experienced practitioners who may not require intensive classroom support. However, YCB examinations can only be conducted by YCB-approved PrCBs. Ayushman Yog currently has a tie-up with one such authorised body, MSPL , through which eligible students may appear for the official YCB examinations. Is the YCB certificate valid for a lifetime? No. YCB certifications are valid for a period of five years. After the validity period, certificate holders are required to renew their certification by appearing for an online viva examination, subject to the applicable renewal fee. Upon successful completion of the renewal process, the certification is extended for another five years. Will I have lifetime access to the study material? Yes. The study material shared in digital format comes with lifetime access. Once enrolled, you can continue to access and refer to the material even after the course duration and examination, for revision and continued learning. Is doing Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 a step-by-step process? No. Preparing for Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 is not a compulsory step-by-step process . Any level can be prepared independently by a student. This is because, in India, many practitioners have been practising yoga for several years, sometimes decades, through traditional lineages, self-practice, or teaching experience. It would not be fair or practical for the government to mandate that such practitioners must first complete Level 1 before becoming eligible for higher levels. Hence, the Yoga Certification Board (YCB) has intentionally kept the system open and flexible. For this reason, at Ayushman Yog, we structure our training accordingly. The practical training for Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 in our school is conducted in a single, intensive batch (Never exceeding 15 students per batch) . From a yogic and pedagogical perspective, reducing practical exposure based on level does not serve the purpose of authentic learning or competent teaching. For example, limiting a Level 1 candidate to only 35 asanas from the syllabus would not be sufficient to develop embodied understanding or teaching confidence. Therefore, all levels receive comprehensive and intensive practical training. The distinction between levels lies primarily in the depth of theory, not in reduced practice. As the level increases, the theoretical understanding becomes progressively deeper, more analytical, and more philosophical. Based on individual inclination: Those interested in deeper philosophy and conceptual understanding may directly prepare for Level 3. Those who prefer a gradual theoretical progression may choose Level 1 or Level 2. Each level independently enables a candidate to teach yoga. However, should an aspirants wishes to apply in a specific studio or a government job, then the required certifications should be done. This approach allows us to honour the traditional way yoga is learned while remaining aligned with modern certification requirements. Application Form

Join Now Teacher Ramya Vimal FAQs- Kids Yoga Certification Kids Yoga is the structured application of yoga practices adapted to the physical, psychological, emotional, and neurological development of children and adolescents. It includes age-appropriate asana, breathing techniques, relaxation, mindfulness, storytelling, and play-based methods suited to different developmental stages. The focus is on understanding growth phases and supporting holistic physical, mental, and emotional development through appropriately selected yoga practices. Are Kids Yoga classes different from adult yoga? Yes, kids' yoga classes are fundamentally different from adult yoga. Children are not miniature adults, and their yoga sessions must account for growth patterns, developing nervous systems, emotional maturity, attention span, and learning styles. Teaching methods, sequencing, instructions, and expectations need to be adapted to each developmental stage. For example, practices such as formal meditation are not appropriate for a six-year-old child; at this age, yoga practices should primarily support Annamaya Kosha through strength-building, coordination, movement, and body awareness. Should yoga teachers need a Kids Yoga Teacher Training course? This question does not have a universal answer. Many yoga teachers understand the differences between adult and children’s yoga through self-study and teaching experience. If a teacher recognises that knowing yogasana alone is not sufficient and can adapt sessions according to different age groups while keeping the practice engaging and developmentally appropriate, an additional course may not be necessary. However, if a teacher requires structured support in areas such as child psychology, age-appropriate anatomy and physiology, behaviour management, consent, and systematic session planning, a specialised Kids Yoga Teacher Training can be useful. Such a course focuses on the specific demands of teaching children and helps teachers apply their existing yoga knowledge more responsibly in a child-centred environment. Why is eligibility important in Kids Yoga teaching? Eligibility is important because teaching yoga to children requires a strong foundational understanding of yoga principles. This course is designed exclusively for trained yoga teachers who have completed a minimum Level 1 Yoga TTC or equivalent training, ensuring that participants already possess essential knowledge of yogasana and basic yogic concepts. With this foundation in place, the training can focus on application rather than basics. Eligibility also helps reduce the risk of improper instruction, unsafe practices, or misinterpretation of children’s physical and emotional responses. Maintaining eligibility standards supports safety, professionalism, and ethical teaching in kids' yoga. What age groups does Kids Yoga focus on? This Kids Yoga certification covers early childhood, middle childhood, and adolescence. Each age group requires distinct teaching approaches, session structures, and communication styles. The training prepares teachers to design age-appropriate yoga sessions across these developmental stages. The course also addresses behavioural and neurological considerations such as short attention span, high energy levels, separation anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), and Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD). Teachers learn structured and sensitive approaches to work with these needs responsibly. How does Kids Yoga Classes support confidence and self-awareness in children? Kids yoga classes support confidence and self-awareness by helping children develop body awareness, emotional regulation, self-confidence, and focus through mindful movement, breath awareness, relaxation, and positive reinforcement. When sessions are designed appropriately, they encourage self-expression without competition or pressure, allowing children to engage with yoga in a supportive and nurturing way. What is the duration, format and enrolment process of this Online Kids Yoga Teacher Training? This is a 4-week Online Kids Yoga Teacher Training program conducted in a live, interactive format through Google Meet. All sessions must be attended live, as class recordings are not provided. This approach encourages regular attendance, active participation, discussion, and doubt clarification. Upon successful completion of the program, participants are awarded a certificate. The enrolment process is simple. Interested teachers can register through the Ayushman Yog website. Once enrolled, participants receive the study material, Google Meet link for live classes, and access to a supportive learning environment focused on professional growth. Why choose Ayushman Yog for Kids Yoga Teacher Training? Ayushman Yog is a well-established Private Online Yoga School offering teacher training programs aligned with the Yoga Certification Board under the Ministry of AYUSH. The institution has also developed structured study material for YCB courses, with published books available on Amazon that have supported learners worldwide in successfully clearing government-conducted examinations in India. Along with government-aligned and in-house certification programs, the school follows a teacher-centric approach rooted in classical yogic wisdom while addressing modern teaching needs. The Kids Yoga Teacher Training reflects this philosophy, recognising that children’s yoga must be approached differently from adult yoga, with strong emphasis on quality training, ethical teaching, and responsible application of yoga for children. Application Form Books Complete Guidebook For YCB Level 3 Yoga TTC Order Now FAQs: Yoga Teacher & Evaluator (Equivalent to 800 Hours of Structured Learning) What is the Yoga Teacher & Evaluator course? The Yoga Teacher & Evaluator (equivalent to 800 Hours yoga teacher training) Yoga Teacher Training is an intensive yoga education program designed to educate aspirants about deeper philosophical aspects, including the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Hatha Ratnavali, Yog Vashishtha, Yog Sutra, and many others. This course covers intensive practical yoga training along with in-depth theory as prescribed under the Yoga Certification Board (YCB) Level-3 syllabus. What does “equivalent to hours” actually mean in Yoga Teacher Training? In the context of yoga education, “equivalent to hours” refers to the approximate estimated learning time prescribed for a particular level of study. It represents the overall academic and learning workload expected from a student, rather than a fixed number of classroom or contact hours. It is important to understand that yoga learning is not a rigid, hour-bound process . The concept of counting education strictly in hours is largely a Western academic framework, whereas the traditional yogic system has always emphasised continuous practice (abhyasa), reflection, and experiential understanding, which cannot be confined to a definite number of hours. This is why, at Ayushman Yog, the course structure is designed with flexibility: Practical training is conducted for a defined period of 3 months, ensuring disciplined, guided, and consistent practice. Theory learning remains open-ended, allowing students to continue attending live theory classes until they feel ready and successfully clear the examination. This approach acknowledges that every learner absorbs knowledge at a different pace, especially in deeper subjects such as philosophy, anatomy, and therapeutic understanding. The estimated learning time, therefore, serves as a guideline for depth and scope, not as a limitation on learning. In essence, the “hour equivalence” helps standardise learning outcomes, while the actual journey of yoga learning remains flexible, personal, and ongoing. What is YCB (Yoga Certification Board)? The Yoga Certification Board (YCB) is a body under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, responsible for standardizing yoga education, teacher qualifications, and therapist certifications across India and internationally. What is the mode of teaching for this course? The course is conducted in an online live format (conducted through G-meet and Microsoft Teams) , ensuring real-time interaction between students and teachers. It includes guided practice sessions, theory classes, doubt-clearing, and teaching methodology training. Do I need to be in India to enroll in this course? No. This course is open to both Indian and international students. Since the training as well as examination is conducted online, physical presence in India is not required. Will recordings be available if I miss a class? No. Session recordings of live classes are not provided . Live participation is essential for posture correction, real-time guidance, interaction, and meaningful discussions, which are not possible through recordings. Additionally, regular attendance helps maintain discipline and consistency in practice, both of which are fundamental qualities of a yoga teacher. Once you begin teaching professionally, missing classes frequently is not practical, and this training is designed to cultivate that responsibility from the start. Hence, the certification issued by Ayuhsman yog hold international credibility, and is valid lifetime. Is Ayushman Yog a Government body? No. Ayushman Yog is a private yoga education institute that prepares students for the Yoga Certification Board (YCB) examinations. Please note that all yoga teaching and training institutions are private bodies. We are accredited with Yoga Alliance International (CYS 500) and the World Yoga Federation How does Government affiliation work for YCB courses and examinations? The Yoga Protocol Instructor (equivalent to 200 Hours Yoga Teacher Training) is a foundational professional yoga education program designed to prepare aspirants to teach yoga safely and authentically. This course covers practical yoga training, theory, anatomy, physiology, teaching methodology, and philosophy, as prescribed under the Yoga Certification Board (YCB) Level-1 syllabus. Practical Examination A practical assessment covering asanas, pranayama, mudras, bandhas, kriyas, and teaching demonstration as prescribed by YCB for the respective level. Upon successfully completing the renewal process, the certification is extended for another 5 years. • Nidhi Thakur | Yoga Educator | Founder of Ayushman Yog

Meet Nidhi Thakur, Yoga Educator, Author and Founder of Ayushman Yog. Nidhi Thakur Founder & Director: Ayushman Yog |Yoga Educator | Yoga Therapist | Academic Resource Faculty | Author Email: yogafitness.nidhi@gmail.com Areas of Expertise Yoga Education and Teacher Training | Yoga Therapy and Disease Management | Pranayama and Respiratory Regulation | Yogic Counselling and Mind-Body Integration | Yoga Philosophy and Vedantic Studies | Faculty Wellness and Holistic Development About Nidhi Nidhi Thakur is the Founder and Director of Ayushman Yog , an online yoga education platform founded with the vision of preparing serious yoga students and practitioners for Yoga Certification Board examinations, through structured, authentic, and academically grounded teaching. With over a decade of experience spanning yoga teaching, therapy, curriculum development, and academic engagement, Nidhi brings to her work a rare combination of classical depth and contemporary rigour. She is not only a practitioner and educator, but an original thinker in the field, having developed two structured frameworks that represent genuine contributions to the way yoga therapy and respiratory practice are understood and taught. Her approach to yoga education is rooted in a simple conviction: that yoga, taught well and with honesty, changes lives. Everything at Ayushman Yog reflects that belief. Qualifications & Credentials Nidhi holds a dual postgraduate foundation that bridges the scientific and the philosophical, an M.Sc. in Yoga from Annamalai University and an M.Sc. in Vedanta from Maharshi Ved Vyas International Virtual Vedic University. Her undergraduate background in Information Technology from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, informs the structured, systems-oriented thinking she brings to curriculum design and yoga education. She also holds a Yoga Certification Board Level 3 certification as a Yoga Teacher and Evaluator, one of the highest level of YCB professional certification, and is additionally certified as a Yoga Instructor through Yoga Alliance International. Professional Journey Before stepping onto the yoga mat as a teacher, Nidhi built her professional foundation in the corporate world, working across customer service and coordination roles, and eventually as a Project Coordinator at Fitness Force, a fitness software company. It was perhaps not accidental that her last corporate role sat at the intersection of fitness and technology, a space that gave her both organisational discipline and a first-hand understanding of how wellness is managed, and often mismanaged, in institutional settings. In 2018, she made a deliberate transition, bringing that same rigour and systems thinking into the world of yoga. Her teaching practice grew across private, corporate, and institutional settings, working with students in both one-to-one and group formats. Her clinical focus deepened steadily, the therapeutic application of yoga for stress, lifestyle disorders, and musculoskeletal and respiratory conditions, always through individualised assessment and breath-based intervention rather than generic programming. In 2022, she founded Ayushman Yog with the vision of making structured, YCB-aligned yoga education accessible beyond the walls of a physical school. Since then, she has designed and overseen all teacher training and advanced study programmes, developed curriculum integrating yogic philosophy, physiology, therapy, and pedagogy, and mentored a growing community of yoga teachers and therapists across India and internationally. The Idea Behind Ayushman Yog When Nidhi began her own journey into formal yoga education, she encountered what many serious aspirants quietly struggle with. Yoga education at the time was largely ashram-oriented, geographically limited, and financially out of reach for many. The Yoga Certification Board was still relatively new, and very few teachers were preparing students specifically for its examinations. Resources were scattered. Guidance was hard to find. She navigated it herself, piecing together her learning through determination and whatever materials she could access. But as she did, a thought stayed with her. If she was finding this difficult with her background and drive, how many other sincere aspirants were simply giving up? There was something else that stayed with her too. During her Level 1 studies, she once reached out to her teacher with a genuine question, about the significance of the three syllables in Om. The answer she received was not an answer. She was directed to enroll in another course. It was only later, studying independently, that she found the response in the Mandukya Upanishad, one of the shortest and most accessible of all the Upanishads. The answer had always been there. It simply had not been offered. That experience shaped something fundamental in the way Nidhi thinks about yoga education. A student who finishes a course and still cannot get a straight answer to a genuine question is not a student who has been served well. And a school that responds to every question with another course is not a school, it is a marketplace. She also understood something practical. A yoga student's journey does not end at certification. Questions keep coming. Doubts arise in practice. Situations emerge in teaching that no syllabus fully prepares you for. Where does a student go with those questions? How many courses can one reasonably be expected to do? That question became Ayushman Yog. Built on the conviction that knowledge should be offered generously; not rationed, Ayushman Yog goes beyond the YCB syllabus at every level. Theory sessions are discussion-oriented. Kriyas are taught in depth. Students are encouraged to ask, to question, and to explore beyond what an examination requires. And long after a course ends, students remain part of a living community with continued access to teachers, to resources, and to the kind of unhurried, honest guidance that Nidhi once had to search for alone. Because that is what a school is for. Original Contributions to Yoga Nidhi's contributions to the field of yoga span original therapeutic frameworks, structured respiratory practice, and authored academic publications that have shaped the accessibility to YCB exam prep across India. DPYT: Dual Phase Yoga Therapy DPYT organises yoga therapy into two complementary phases: a structured morning self-practice that harnesses the body's natural healing peak, and a therapist-led session that progressively addresses the client's condition as a whole. The framework is built on the principle that lasting therapeutic outcomes require both guided intervention and cultivated self-reliance. DPYT is not a temporary protocol. It is designed as a lifelong system of self-care. PRANA : Progressive Respiratory Awareness and Nasal Adjustment PRANA is a structured three-week breath retraining protocol rooted in the yogic principle of slow exhalation . It addresses the widespread but underrecognised problem of dysfunctional breathing; chronic overbreathing, mouth breathing, and shallow chest breathing, and offers a progressive, accessible pathway back to nasal, diaphragmatic breathing. Beyond long-term respiratory health, PRANA also serves as an immediate tool for emotional regulation, offering a simple, reliable intervention for anger, anxiety, panic attacks, and moments of acute emotional overwhelm. Courses like Kids Yoga and Face Yoga are Ayushman Yog's own in-house programs, independently designed and offered by us. All courses, however, are subject to a certificate of completion. Are the YCB yoga certifications government-recognized? Yes. YCB stands for Yoga Certification Board, which operates under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. A YCB certification is a nationally recognized credential for yoga professionals and holds significant value for aspiring yoga teachers in India and internationally. Who can enrol in these online live yoga courses? Our courses are open to aspiring yoga teachers, working professionals seeking a recognised yoga certification, complete beginners who wish to learn yoga systematically, and international students looking for authentic, systematic, and true knowledge about yoga. Can beginners learn yoga online and enroll in a yoga teacher training course? Beginners can absolutely enrol in an online yoga teacher training course. At Ayushman Yog, no prior teaching experience or advanced yoga practice is required for the YCB Level 1, 2 or 3 TTC. The practical training is identical across all three levels, while the theory deepens progressively at each level. Live classes, structured study material, a mobile app, and ongoing support make the learning journey accessible and manageable from the very beginning. For a complete syllabus and course structure, we recommend downloading the brochure. How are the live online classes delivered and how do I access study material? All live sessions are conducted on Google Meet. Study material is accessible immediately after payment on the same platform, and is also available via a mobile app. Alternatively, students can purchase the physical books from Amazon for those who prefer studying from a hard copy. Click here for YCB Books. Can international students enroll in these courses? Absolutely. Our online live format is designed to be accessible globally. International students regularly enrol in our YCB TTCs and short courses. Our team is available to assist with any queries regarding enrollment. Please drop an email - info.ayushmanyog@gmail.com How do I choose the right YCB level for me? If you are new to yoga, YCB Level 1 TTC is the natural starting point. However, you can absolutely start with Level 2 or 3 as well. Since the practical training is identical across Level 1, 2, and 3, the key differentiator is the theory, which becomes progressively deeper and more advanced at each level. If you have a strong interest in yoga philosophy, anatomy, teaching methodology, and classical texts, and wish to build a more comprehensive theoretical foundation, a higher level may be the right fit. For guidance on choosing the right level, you can explore the brochure or drop an email with your query - info.ayushmanyog@gmail.com Do I receive a certificate upon completing the course? Yes. All courses at Ayushman Yog, including YCB TTCs as well as our in-house programs like Kids Yoga and Face Yoga, are subject to a certificate of completion. YCB certifications are additionally backed by the Yoga Certification Board under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, and are subject to clearing the YCB exams. What is the one-to-one online yoga consultation session? The one-to-one online yoga theory consultation is a 60-minute live session led by Nidhi Thakur, Founder and Director of Ayushman Yog. It is designed for yoga teachers, YCB aspirants, and self-studying individuals who need focused, individual guidance on YCB syllabus topics, classical yogic texts, yoga therapy, teaching methodology, or starting an online yoga business. Who is Eligible for the YCB Level 6 Yoga Therapist Course? The minimum eligibility for the YCB Level 6 Yoga Therapist course is a Level 1 YCB certification , or an equivalent Diploma or Degree in Yoga recognised by a competent authority. Note that eligibility here is not merely a formality. It is foundational to how this course is designed. The YCB Level 6 curriculum is built on the assumption that you already carry a strong working knowledge of yoga practice. By the time you join this course, you are expected to know and practise: Yogic preparatory practices such as Sukshma Vyayama and Sthula Vyayama Pawanmuktasana Series 1, 2, and 3 in their classical form The Ashtanga series of asanas Several Hatha yoga postures with correct alignment and breath coordination Pranayama practices including their classical techniques and applications Core concepts of yogic anatomy, kriyas, mudras, and bandhas This prior knowledge is the ground you stand on. What the Level 6 course teaches is the next layer , the therapeutic implementation. You will learn how to apply these practices clinically, how to assess individuals with lifestyle and psychosomatic conditions, how to design personalised yoga therapy protocols, and how to work alongside physicians as a qualified Yoga Therapist under the Ministry of AYUSH framework. If your foundational practice is still developing, we strongly recommend completing any of the course from YCB Level 1, 2, or 3 first through Ayushman Yog before applying for Level 6. What are the career opportunities after completing YCB Level 6 ? After completing the YCB Level 6 certification, you can work as a certified yoga therapist in hospitals, wellness centres, rehabilitation clinics, and yoga therapy institutions. You may also establish your own yoga therapy practice, work freelance or collaborate with allopathic doctors, physiotherapists, and psychologists to offer integrated care. Is the YCB Level 6 certificate recognised globally? The YCB Level 6 Yoga Therapist certification is a government-recognised credential issued under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, which gives it strong institutional credibility within India. It is increasingly recognised by yoga organisations and wellness institutions internationally. However, if you are planning to practise as a yoga therapist in a specific country outside India, we recommend checking the local regulations for healthcare and yoga practice in that region, as recognition criteria can vary. How is the YCB Level 6 exam structured? The YCB Level 6 examination has two parts, both conducted online on the same day. The first is a theory exam in MCQ format, covering anatomy, physiology, yoga philosophy, and therapeutic applications. The second is a practical demonstration exam, where you demonstrate practices as mentioned in the syllabus. A minimum score of 70% in both parts separately is required to pass. Upon clearing both, your Yoga Therapist certificate can be downloaded directly from the official government dashboard. What certificates will I receive after completing the YCB Level 6 course at Ayushman Yog? At Ayushman Yog, you receive a dual qualification upon successful completing the Level 6 Yoga Therapist course. The first is the Ayushman Yog Certificate of Completion, issued based on your overall performance throughout the course, including attendance, assignment completion, and engagement with the curriculum. This certificate carries a QR code that can be independently verified on our official Certified Yoga Professionals Registry at Ayushman Yog, giving it credibility that goes beyond a participation certificate. The second is your eligibility to appear for the official YCB Level 6 examination conducted by the Yoga Certification Board under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. Upon clearing both the theory and practical exams with a minimum of 70%, you receive the government-recognised designation of Yoga Therapist, downloadable directly from the official YCB dashboard. This dual qualification means that even before you sit for the government exam, you hold a verifiable, institution-issued credential from Ayushman Yog. And once you clear the YCB exam, you carry both, an institutional certificate and a government-recognised designation, together forming a strong professional profile as a Yoga Therapist. Can I join the YCB Level 6 course if I have a yoga degree but no YCB certification? Yes. The minimum eligibility is a Level 1 YCB certification or an equivalent Diploma or Degree in Yoga recognised by a competent authority. If you hold a formal yoga degree from a recognised university, you are eligible to apply. If you are unsure whether your qualification meets the eligibility criteria, you can reach out to us directly before applying. Is this course conducted online or offline? The YCB Level 6 Yoga Therapist course at Ayushman Yog is conducted entirely online via Google Meet, five days a week, Monday to Friday, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM IST. This makes it accessible to students across India and to international participants regardless of location, without any compromise on the quality or depth of instruction. How soon after completing the course can I appear for the YCB exam? The YCB Level 6 examination is conducted every month. Once you feel prepared, you inform us of your preferred exam date and we assist you in booking through our authorised examination partner. There is no mandatory waiting period after course completion. Students who have consistently attended classes and completed their assignments are typically exam-ready by the end of the three-month programme. What is the DPYT model taught in this course? DPYT stands for Dual Phase Yoga Therapy, a therapeutic protocol developed by Ayushman Yog . It is built on the principle that yoga therapy works best when designed across two phases. The first is Morning Management , a self-practice routine that the client learns and eventually carries out independently. The second is Class Management , a therapist-guided session that focuses on the overall body and can be scheduled at any time during the day. Together, the two phases create a therapy design that is both structured and sustainable, building the client's self-sufficiency while keeping the therapist's role purposeful and focused.
