Ardha Chakrasana
Standing Half Wheel Posture

Technique:
Stand straight with your feet hip width apart and arms by your sides.
Place your hands on your waist and inhale while arching your back as far as possible.
Ensure that the arch is from the waist, not from the neck.
Hold for 5-10 deep breaths. Exhale as you return to the starting position.
Complementary Asana: Padahastasana
Bhava: Aishwarya Bhava
Benefits and Therapeutic Applications:
Improves the flexibility and strength of the spine and neck muscles.
The deep breathing encouraged during the pose increases lung expansion and can help improve respiratory function.
The gentle arch and extension of the spine provide relief and mobility for individuals suffering from cervical spondylitis by reducing stiffness and increasing range of motion.
Ardha Chakrasana enhances proprioceptive awareness, particularly in the thoracic spine and hips. This helps refine body awareness, improving overall balance and posture.
Contraindications: Vertigo, migraine, or any condition causing dizziness, slipped disc, or pregnancy (later stage).
