About us

What We Offer

Ayushman Yog specialises in government-syllabus-aligned yoga teacher training programmes under the Yoga Certification Board (YCB), an initiative of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. Our course offerings span the full range of YCB certification levels:

Beyond the YCB pathway, we also offer the following specialised add-on courses designed for yoga teachers who wish to expand into new niches and bring greater depth and range to their teaching practice:

For those seeking structured learning outside of formal certification, we offer a growing library of self-paced courses, covering topics such as Yogic Sukshma Vyayama, Yogic Management of Common Diseases, classical texts like the Gheranda Samhita, and more, all with lifetime access and complete self-paced learning.

Alongside this, our Daily Yoga Practice programme offers consistent guided practice for practitioners who want yoga woven into their everyday life rather than confined to a course.

How Our Yoga Teacher Training Works

Our YCB Level 1, 2 and 3 Teacher Training Courses are structured around a belief that a strong practical foundation and early teaching experience matter more than moving through levels in a fixed sequence.

  • Practical Classes: Shared, Rotating, and Open to All Levels- Practical training covers three standalone topics: Ashtanga Primary Series, Hatha Yoga and Disease Management, and YCB Syllabus. Each topic runs for four weeks, and new students are welcomed at the start of every topic cycle. Students across Level 1, 2 and 3 train together in the same practical batches, because we believe that deep yogic knowledge is not level-specific; it belongs to every serious practitioner from the very beginning.

  • Theory Classes: Level-Specific and Separate - Theory classes are conducted on separate days for each level, ensuring that every student receives the precise academic preparation required for their chosen YCB certification exam.

  • Levels Are Not Sequential Here - At Ayushman Yog, YCB Levels 1, 2 and 3 are independent entry points, not a compulsory step-by-step progression. A student can enrol at any level based on their goals. If at any point a student wishes to switch levels, they can do so seamlessly; their practical training remains relevant. For the theory component, they may choose to self-study using the relevant book or join our theory classes for the new level at 50% of the applicable course fee.

  • Start Teaching Early -  We actively encourage our students to begin teaching as early as possible. Knowledge deepens through practice, and the classroom is only the beginning.

Our Teaching Approach

The structure described above is made possible by the depth of what we actually teach. Ayushman Yog does not limit its curriculum to the prescribed YCB syllabus; we build well beyond it, because we believe a yoga teacher's foundation should be broad, classical, and practically rich.  Our programmes incorporate a holistic framework that includes:

  • Disease management through the DPYT model

  • Ashtanga Primary Series

  • Pranayama, Mudra, Bandha, and Kriya practicals

  • Stress management and lifestyle disorder management

  • Yoga as integrative medicine

  • Teaching practice

  • In-depth study of classical texts, including Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Gheranda Samhita, Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Bhagavad Gita, and, at the advanced level, Hatha Ratnavali, Yoga Vasishtha, and the Upanishads

Practical sessions are conducted five days a week with additional theory sessions to match the depth each level demands. Every student receives access to complete study material for their respective course, which they can access through our Learning Management System (LMS) on our website or mobile app.

Certification Process

At Ayushman Yog, certification is not merely a formality, it is a meaningful indicator of a student's genuine readiness to teach and practise yoga professionally.

Certificate of Completion:Ayushman Yog

Upon successful completion of any course at Ayushman Yog, whether a YCB programme or an internal course, students receive a Certificate of Completion issued by Ayushman Yog. This certificate is not awarded automatically upon course completion alone. It is subject to the faculty's professional assessment of whether the student's overall performance, across practicals, theory, and conduct, has been satisfactory and whether the student is genuinely prepared to teach. This internal evaluation ensures that every certificate issued by Ayushman Yog carries real academic and professional weight.

Every Certificate of Completion issued by Ayushman Yog is verifiable through a unique QR code, which directs to our Verified Professional Registry,  a publicly accessible directory that allows students, employers, studios, wellness centres, and institutions worldwide to independently confirm the authenticity of a graduate's credentials.

Government Certification: YCB Examination

For students enrolled in YCB programmes, the Ayushman Yog Certificate of Completion is accompanied by eligibility to appear for the official YCB Government Examination, which confers a government-recognised designation upon successful completion.

The YCB examination is conducted every month in online mode, and our students are notified of upcoming examination schedules and registration details through dedicated WhatsApp groups, ensuring no student misses an examination opportunity. Our affiliated examination body for YCB examinations is MSPL.

The YCB examination comprises two components:

  • MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions): testing theoretical knowledge across the prescribed syllabus

  • Practical examination: assessing hands-on teaching and practice competency

Students are required to score a minimum of 70% in each component to successfully clear the examination. Upon clearing both components, students receive their official government-recognised YCB certificate, qualifying them for the designation corresponding to their level: Yoga Protocol Instructor (Level 1), Yoga Wellness Instructor (Level 2),  Yoga Teacher and Evaluator (Level 3), Yoga Master (Level 4), Assistant Yoga Therapist (Level 5), Yoga Therapist (Level 6), and Therauptic Yoga Consultant (Level 7)

This dual certification structure, an Ayushman Yog Certificate of Completion, alongside a government-recognised YCB certificate, ensures that our graduates are among the most thoroughly credentialed yoga professionals in the field.
