About Parul
Parul Hanwat is a graphic designer and multidisciplinary artist whose relationship with creative expression began in childhood and has never stopped deepening. Originally from Madhya Pradesh and now based in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, she brings extensive experience in the creative industry to her work, across digital and hand-drawn mediums, grounded in a solid foundation of graphic design principles.
Her particular strength lies in visual identity: the work of translating an organisation's purpose, values, and character into something that can be seen and felt. Five years of working with diverse creative startups sharpened her ability to adapt quickly, think critically, and find the visual language that makes an idea legible to the world.
Professional Journey
Parul founded Kala Tratak, Art & Graphic Design Studio as a space for creative design solutions that centre self-expression through visual representation. The studio's work spans logo design and brand identity, children's books, magazines, packaging design, and graphics for merchandise — a range that reflects both her technical versatility and her genuine curiosity across creative forms.
Alongside her studio practice, she conducts online and offline art classes and workshops for children and adults — built on the conviction that creativity is a limitless form of expression available to everyone, and that the role of an educator is simply to help people find their way into it.
At Ayushman Yog
Since 2025, Parul has been the creative force behind Ayushman Yog's visual identity. Her work spans the full range of the school's design needs, from flyers and brochures to course materials and every other visual touchpoint through which Ayushman Yog presents itself to the world.
Her most significant contribution to the school is "Veda", Ayushman Yog's original illustrated guide, a character Parul created and developed to serve as the visual anchor for yoga postures and practices across the school's academic resources. Veda brings warmth, clarity, and a distinctly human quality to material, and has become an integral part of how Ayushman Yog's students experience the curriculum.
For Parul, this collaboration has been more than a professional engagement. Working within a community deeply committed to purpose, wellness, and conscious creation has asked her to think not just about what looks right, but about what means something, and that is precisely the kind of creative challenge she finds most worthwhile.
